Our Story
Hello, everyone!
We are Dee and Michael Miller. We began our story in 1990, while we were attending Eastern Michigan University. Dee studied Fine Art, Michael studied Marketing but found love in wood working. Together, we found beauty in flowers hand-crafted from wood. Our interest heightened in the mid-90’s when we saw two-dimensional flowers cut from wood. We thought: hey… we can do it better! So we did. By 1998, we quit our jobs and created D&M Wooden Flowers and Vases.
We turned flat-cut flower petals into three-dimensional form. By using the illusion of paint and a little bit of engineering, we created a variety of flowers into reality. Our customers are a big part of our inspirations, ideas, and creations. Many impossibilities became possible… surprises us every time!
